So, friday last week, it was raining like crazy, and I decided that wearing sandals to school was an amazing idea. I'm sick to anyone who where wondering how that turned out.

I didn't really do anything yesterday, just went to lunch with my family and that I watched Grey's Anatomy the rest of the day.

Nothing really happened today. I just watched more Grey's and did a bunch of homework!

Yesterday, I happened to ask Renee how a drive through really works since I'd never been to one. So that ended up with Wendy's for dinner last night!

Today, me and Karoline went to Stonebriar Mall for some quality time. That girl is seriously awesome, love her to pieces. We spent 4 hours shopping, and I had my first Starbucks drink since I got here a month ago... Applause please.

Right now, I'm just chilling in bed with Grey's Anatomy and Arizona Iced Tea. Life is gooood!

The plan for tomorrow is just to stay in, skype with my family and best friend and get ahead of some homework.

Today, me and Albane went to our first fashion club meeting! It was really fun. We made our own hair-bows :)

Other that that, I've just been busy with homework! School takes a lot of time, it actually takes most of my time.

Tomorrow morning (Friday), I have a meeting with the Choir Directir, Mr.Knight, before school starts. I'm really excited to see if I can actually join the choir because of my schdule. Also, neither me or Albane are going to the football game. Albane has a Cross Country thing at like 6 am on Saturday, so we decided that we wouldn't go to the game.

Now, I have a question for my readers; what would you like to read about? What I do in class from day to day?

Last night, I went to the homecoming dance with Albane and Carlos! I was feeling kind of bad the entire day, so the dance wasn't too fun. I mean, it would probably have been more fun if I actually knew people, but I've obly been in school for a little over 2 weeks combined, and you don't really get to know people in such short time.

However, I did get a lot of compliments, and that was a real boost to my bad day! People I have never seen before stoped me and said "You look gorgeous!" and some people from my classes said things like "Wow, you look amazing!" and this one guy even said "You look absolutly beautiful tonight."

It's little things like that that makes a person glow.

Hey!

First of all, I want to say sorry for not updating to much. There's been a lot going on, which you will read more about later! Also, I wanted to inform you that I will try to update the blog once a week, just because I don't have too much time on my hands!

In my last post, I wrote that I was feeling really sick that friday. I was feeling kind of ok on Saturday and then I started feeling bad again Sunday night. On Monday (Labor Day), I was feeling so sick and I was in constant pain, so Renee took me to the doctor where they did a bunch of tests to see what was wrong. The conclution was that I was severly dehydrated and that my body didn't handle the food here. I got medication for my abdominal pain and a strict note telling me to drink more. The doctor also told me that I need a diet with as little greasy things as possible, seeing my body just can't handle it! So for the last two weeks, my diet has been plain rice, plain pasta, plain chicken and Gatorade. Wiiiih

So, since I missed two days of school (I was out on tuesday last week also because of the pain and the sick feeling), I had a stack of homework waiting for me. I just finished my make-up work this week, on the side of all my other homework and studying for tests. I'm so glad it's friday tomorrow!

My schedule looks like this (I'll do a post on all the classes later):

1st period - English 4

2nd period - Principles of Health Science

3rd period - US History

4th period - Math Models w/app

LUNCH

5th period - The Human Experience Honors

6th period - Psychology

7th period - Anatomy and Physiology Honors

This week is spiritweek at school, since theHomecoming dance is on Saturday!

Monday: Classy VS Tacky

Tuesday: Superheros VS Villians

Wednesday: Pre K VS Senior Citizents

Thursday: Jocks VS Nerds

Friday: EAST SPIRIT - Mums and Garders!

I'll explain all of that in my next post, which I will try to post on Sunday!

Last friday, I went to the 1st home football game wth Albane and Carlos! It was actually pretty good!

Me and Albane also went to the baseball game at school yesterday! It was super boring

Hey! So, I'm sorry for not bloging this week, but I've been so busy!

Saturday was just a boring day. I stayed home and read the whole day. Sunday, some of Renee's family came over for a BBQ! I had a really great day. At night, Cory and Renee decided they would show me downtown Dallas! I really love this area, it's so big and beautiful here.

Monday was first day of school, and I promise you: I was scared out if my mind. EVERYTHING was scary. I was freaking out. But I found all my classes, and it was all good. I did not eat my lunch in the toilets!

Tuesday was better. I met with Albane (a french exchange student) in the morning, and we also had lunch together! She is so freaking adorable and so nice. I'm really glad I have someone to talk to and sit with at lunch!

Wednesday was better than tuesday. I had a mixup with my classes, so I had French 3 Honors instead of French 2. So I went to see the consulor and I switched French with Human Experience Honors, which I am really enjoying! Also, when I was waiting for the bus, a guy came up to me and asked if his friend could have my number. Sadly, I still don't have a number..

Thursday was even better! School and everything is going so good. People are really friendly. I had a quiz in Anatomy and Physiology, and it was Renee's 28th birthday! So we went to a place called the Magical Time Machine or something. Let me tell you two things: americans are crazy, and they eat ALOT of food.

Yesterday was a bad day. I was really sick, so I stayed home from school. I just slept all day.

Today I went to the mall with Karoline! She's also a Norwegian exchange student :) we spent like 4 hours shooping talking and eating. I spent alot of money, but there were stuff I needed, like a bag that could carry my books, more clothes and so on. I still need basic things like deodorant, a curling iron, more socks and stuff like that, so maybe I'll go to target or something tomorrow!

Heey!

Wednesday evening, I Skyped with Marte for about 2 hours.

On Tuesday, the day started with me and Renee going to Plano East Senior High to fill out paperwork and pick what classes I wanted. I ended up with English 4, US History, Math Models, Anatomy and Physyology, French 2, Principels of Health Science and then I'm taking Psychology and Medical Terminology for 1 semester each. Later, me, Renee and Coco went to an ice-cream bar to mert two other EF students and their families. It was really fun, and I'm glad to know I will see both Karoline and Benedikt during the year :)

Yesterday, me, Renee and Coco went to the mall pretty early. I have alot of trouble with the SIM-card EF gave me, so we checked the options to buy an American SIM-card. After that I shopped for a few hours, met up with Renee again, went to lunch and then Renee dropped me of at school so I could pick up my schedule and find my classrooms. Man that school is HUGE. Lucky for me, I have 5 of 7 classes in the same building!

We also went to a rodeo last night! It was actually pretty fun, I've never seen anything like that before.

I'm in Texas! Arrived about 4 pm yesterday, and I promise you; I don't remember standing in line at immigration for so long before. Took 1 and a half hours! After that I met my host parents and went to the house to unpack my stuff. We also went to dinner at a typical texan resturant :)

Today, me and mom went to lunch and to Target, where I got school supplies and make-up. Mom also bought all kinds of food I've never had, to try for breakfast.

Tomorrow I'm going to school to pic classes and we're going to eat hot dogs and ice cream with two other EF students and a person from EF! I'm so excited, because I actually know one of the others students so I'm really excited to meet her!
